The Poseidon ™ is a Two Stage Drain Insert, made in the USA, designed to trap and retain debris, sediments, metals, and hydrocarbons as well as kill bacteria. The first stage retains larger debris such as trash and organic material separating them from solution and allowing the finer particles and water to flow through a hydrocarbon absorbent media pouch. The solution then passes through the second stage, capturing the fine sediments and particles and is treated again for hydrocarbons, metals, and bacteria as it passes through a second media pouch. By the time the water is released into the drain, it will have passed through two layers of filtration as well as four different absorbents and an anti-microbial agent resulting in nothing but clean water entering the drain.
The Poseidon ™ filter inserts are available in sizes to fit most standard drainage systems. Custom orders can be fabricated to your specifications or needs. These filter inserts are constructed from high quality materials that have been tested and proven throughout the storm water industry. The filter medias are designed to capture hydrocarbons by absorption, are resistant to leaching, and do not release solidified oils under pressure. The materials selected for Poseidon ™ filter inserts are UV resistant. With a proper maintenance schedule, and the manufacturer’s Three Year Limited Warranty, they wil provide years of storm drain protection.
